## Key takeaways

- Native can scale across many industries, but success depends on the offer, the audience, the funnel and the market.
- Timing matters: home improvement and gadgets peak in January and February, from mid-May to early August and again at the end of the year, while health and supplements are strongest from January to mid-May.
- In direct to consumer, do not copy competitors outside the US: the US can absorb five or six advertisers at scale, most other markets cannot.

Native can scale across many industries, but success depends on the offer, the audience, the funnel and the market. After running native campaigns across dozens of niches, these are the verticals we see working, with when to push spend and what to watch.

## Lead generation

### Home improvement and repairs

Home improvement and repairs (solar panels, heat pumps, insulation, gutter cleaning) works well because native reaches older, wealthier homeowners. It peaks in January and February, again from mid-May to early August and in December. Research the season and local subsidies: a heat pump angle before a cold winter or a state subsidy in your country beats a generic pitch.

### Life quality and reliefs

Life quality and reliefs (hearing aids, debt relief, pension and tax relief) is evergreen and suits the same senior audience; check whether your country subsidizes the relief you promote.

### Insurance

Insurance (car, life, senior living, funeral savings) is evergreen with a boost at the start of the year, when the insurance cycle changes: ask your client when their customers usually renew and push spend then.

### Class action and mass tort

Class action and mass tort pays very well but depends on lawyers having budget and on when the legal action runs; the biggest markets are the US, the UK and Germany.

### Personal finance

Personal finance on native is mostly stocks and senior investment, from lead generation to first deposit; accounting firms are a rarer angle, so push spend one to two months before the tax deadline in your market.

### Dating

Dating is heavily regulated on native and mostly closed today.

## Installs

### Apps and extensions

Apps and extensions are not native's strength for cheap installs, but browser extensions (discounts, education) and desktop utilities like VPNs can work once you find a winning angle. Platforms with in-app native, like Newsbreak, can work without an advertorial.

### iGaming, gambling and betting

iGaming, gambling and betting have only recently been allowed on native. Slots are simple to launch; gambling and betting need licenses. Ask your account manager which markets your license allows and push spend around major sports events.

## Direct to consumer

### Gadgets and wearables

Gadgets and wearables (straight sale or cash on delivery) peak in January and February, mid-May to early August and from mid-October to December. Do not copy competitors outside the US: the US can absorb five or six advertisers at scale, most other markets cannot, except maybe the UK and Germany.

### Health and supplements

Health and supplements (skincare, gut health and similar) is strongest from January to mid-May, with the same rule on copycats.

## Arbitrage

Content arbitrage on native is effectively dead; try search arbitrage or run content arbitrage on social. Search arbitrage now runs on RSOC since AFD ended.
